The operating rate of medium-sized copper scrap rod enterprises with an annual production capacity of 5 ~ 100000 tons is 41.5%, and that of small enterprises with an annual production capacity of less than 50 000 tons is 44.21%.
In October, the copper price hovered over the 50000 yuan / ton platform, and the fine scrap price difference continued to be repaired to about 1800 yuan per ton. The delivery enthusiasm of the scrap copper shippers increased unabated, and the scrap copper rod-making enterprises almost maintained the previous level of start-up and made progress in a steady and steady manner. A large copper scrap rod maker said it would start another production line in October. Although consumption of scrap copper rods has been driven by the widening price difference between scrap copper rods and electric copper poles, companies say the actual consumption downstream is not very satisfactory, and they are not very optimistic about the increase in investment in the state power grid and infrastructure investment in the fourth quarter.
It is expected that the opening rate of large copper scrap rod enterprises will be 66.82% in October, an increase of 5.45 percentage points from the previous month, and the starting rate of small and medium-sized enterprises will be flat. On the whole, the operating rate of copper scrap rod enterprises is expected to be 52.73% in October, an increase of 2.36 percentage points from the previous month.
